Jennifer is a journalist and writer based in New York City.

Most recently, she covered retail and entrepreneurship at Business Insider.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at Emerson College (2016) and minored in publishing and art history.

Before discovering her passion for business reporting, Jennifer worked for several years in fashion and retail as a stylist and freelance writer.

Today she covers how to launch and scale a new business, focusing on what entrepreneurs and side hustlers should do in the first years of starting up.

During her time at Papercut magazine, she attended New York Fashion Week and interviewed over 50 designers, photographers, stylists, and models from around the world.

She has also written for Who What Wear, LADYGUNN, EdTech Times, Spare Change News, Elite Daily, and The Culture-ist.

In college, her work was featured in several campus publications including Atlas magazine, YourMag, emMag, and The Berkeley Beacon.

Jennifer loves dining in her neighborhood of Astoria, New York.

Jennifer went to Tulum, Mexico in 2021.

Jennifer was born and raised in New Hampshire, but has always been a city girl at heart.

When she’s not writing, she loves to discover new restaurants in her Astoria neighborhood, go to art museums with her husband, hunt for treasures in local thrift stores, and study art and French.

She loves traveling and experiencing new cultures . . . she’ll try almost any food once. Her favorite destinations so far are Nice, Aix-en-Provence, Costa Rica, and Joshua Tree.
