β€œLife Soft Served” is a faith-based blog where I help young women navigate Christianity, mental health, and relationships while discovering their identity in Christ. Through honest conversations, Biblical encouragement, and practical guidance, I aim to empower women to grow in their faith and embrace who God created them to be.

I’m passionate about telling stories that highlight people of many different backgrounds β€” whose ideas inspire others and leave an impression on the world .

Jennifer is a journalist and writer.

Jennifer currently covers the insurance industry for P&C Specialist at the Financial Times. While she was a reporter at Business Insider, her journalism focused on the economic, cultural, and political issues facing America's 33 million small businesses and profiled diverse and unconventional founders who challenged traditional models of success.

She reported on the many ways the pandemic shaped entrepreneurship as a path to survival and financial independence, from retailers who made masks during lockdown and mothers who quit their 9-to-5 jobs, to teachers who gave up the profession and truck drivers building wealth

She also dug into the big companies that serve small businesses with investigative stories such as "Small Businesses are Suing Big Banks," "How Major Banks Decided the Futures of America's Small Businesses," "In a Busy Wedding Year, Vendors Say The Knot Isn't Worth the Cost, and β€œChewy Pet Portrait Artists are Furious Over Treatment and New Contract.”

Her reporting brought her to the United Nations and led to appearances on Good Morning America, CBS New York, The Laura Coates Show, Wharton Business Daily, and This Morning with Gordon Deal.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Emerson College and is currently based in New York City.
